Raids
Raid Times: Wed/Thurs/Monday 4-7 Server time. Raid Definition: Progression Raids will be designated as the raids that the guild is currently working on for gear, and are guild events. All loot and Raid rules will apply to these. Currently HK and T2 Raid Rifts are considered progression. Non-Progression Raids may be run as guild events, or may be put together by guild members ad hoc. Rules will be determined by Raid Leader's preference and may include alts, rolling for loot, and guests. These raids will not count towards the loot system. (Currently 10 man, T1 Raid Rifts, GSB and ROS) Raid Rules: Please be ON TIME. If we do not have enough people for a raid by 15 minutes after the published start time then the raid will be canceled. If you will be late, make sure you post to the forum, or notify the Raid Leader of the time to expect you. Being on time includes being raid ready. You should be fully healed, stocked up on any potions/drinks, and have the correct gear with minimum stat requirements. You should also be in Ventrilio. You do not need a microphone, but need to hear instructions before and during events. Sign up for raids are on the website. Sign-ups are encouraged (You can also indicate you will not be able to make it). Signups will be given first consideration, but raid needs will come first to ensure the success of the raid. ***Signing up does NOT guarantee you a spot in the raid*** Everyone will have ONE designated main character that is used for progression raiding. If you have a regular scheduling conflict with the raid start time such as work or school please contact one of the officers. Alts Only Main Characters will be considered for progression raids. A person may be asked to bring an Alt instead of their Main to fill a critical role that is missing. This will be rare and at the discretion of the Raid Leader. Any raid points earned will be recorded on their main character and the alt will only be eligible for loot that would otherwise rot. The main character will not be charged raid points for this situation. This will be a rare occurrence. If player wants to change their main character they may do so. This is not encouraged however, and may be restricted as to frequency allowed. The change should be to a character you enjoy playing, and plan to keep as your main. We do not want to gear up people's alts at the expense of others. If this becomes a problem, this may be revised. Alts may go to any raid that is not considered progression without penalty. Loot rules at these will be determined by the raid leader. Loot System We will be using Noc Souls designed Loot System. Your eligibility for loot will be determined by points accrued during Progression Raids. This will be a transparent system, with points earned and current position posted and available for viewing by guild members on the website. Loot will be awarded to the person with the highest point total who is eligible for the item. Once the item is awarded, your point total will be reset to zero. Example: Once the boss is dead the Master Looter (ML) will link all items available to the raid. During this time you are encouraged to review these items to see if they would be an upgrade for your character. The ML will then link each item individually in Raid Chat, asking people who are eligible and for whom it is an upgrade to indicate their interest in Raid Chat. The person who is highest in point total of those eligible will be awarded the item. A roll off will be used to break any ties. Once an item is awarded the person drops to zero and loses all points accrued. (Note: This means that you will not be eligible for another item on the raid unless everyone who is now above you passes and the item would rot or be sharded) Items that no one wants to bid on will be looted by the Raid Loot Master or his designate to be salvaged and/or sold. Raid Points will be used on HK loot. All other progression raid drops will be rolled on with the one item limit per night rule in effect. Earning Raid Points 1 point for being on time – meaning in game, full vitality, signed-up on event calendar, at the raid spot or ready to use the guild portal banner 1 point for each boss killed Their will be a minimum of 3 points total given per a raid (4 if you were on time)if no bosses are killed due to working on progression mobs. Bonus Points: X point(s) for an exceptional raid – awarded at the Raid Leader(s) discretion 1 extra point for first time boss kill The Raid Leader will designate at the beginning of the raid who will be record keeper for the Raid. Standby When there are more raiders then slots to fill available for a raid, the overflow will be given the option to be placed on Standby. Standby means you are in game ready to jump into the raid at a moment’s notice. No PUG dungeons or DRRs; we do not want to earn the reputation of leaving a group hanging. Players on standby will earn points just like they were on the raid. Standby lasts for the full duration of the raid. |
